Determination of the optimum temperature has been carried out bale before flapping process by testing plasticity Retention Index (PRI), the results obtained from the optimum temperature bale that meet quality standards SIR 10 is 400 C. If the temperature >4000 C pressing process is done, then the bale that has been in the press will undergo evaporation / condensation inside the plastic wrapper that resulted in back and a raw rubber mold growth media, as well as the occurrence of white spots or virgin rubber (marked white spots and strong smelling). Plastic bale wrapper will be sticky, and the value of plasticity retention index (PRI) will decrease because of the heat retained in the packaging. From the obtained data and calculations, that the value of plasticity before pengusangan (P0) is 42-51, and the value of plasticity retention index (PRI), which reached a value of 84.5 is obtained.en_US
