Penentuan Konsentrasi Kandungan Logam Arsenik, Kromium dan Merkuri Berdasarkan Sampling Point (Lokasi) Pengeluaran Air Limbah PT. Smart Tbk (Sinarmas Group) dengan Metode Spektrofotometri Serapan Atom

Abstract

Concentration of arsenic (As), chromium (Cr) and mercury (Hg) have been analyzed in the wastewater of PT. SMART Tbk (SINARMAS GROUP) and water of Sei Pallau’s river in Medan Belawan using atomic absorption spectrofotometer at wavelength (λ) respectively were 335,5 nm, 234,6 nm and 288,8 nm. The results of metals concentration in the wastewater were respectively ± 0,1990 mg/L, 0,0000 mg/L and 0,0000 mg/L. The results of metals concentration between wastewater and water of the river were respectively ± 0,8600 mg/L, 0,0000 mg/L and 0,0000 mg/L. The results of metals concentration in water of the river were respectively ± 0,0000 mg/L, 0,0000 mg/L and 0,0000 mg/L. Base of the Regulation of Indonesia Ministry Number 82 year 2001 about Water Treatment Quality and Water Pollution Controlling that Sei Pallau’s river in Medan Belawan is unuseable for bathing, washing and for facilities of water recreation to people around it.
