dc.description.abstractCOD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) is a parameter that indicates in many organic compounds that can be oxidized in wastewater. The organic compound to be oxidized by an oxidizing reagent. COD concentration of effluent at the inlet and outlet cooling pond PT PERTAMINA GEOTHERMAL AREA ENENRGY Sibayak has been done, where the methods used to measure the levels of COD in waste water liquid at the inlet and outlet cooling pond that is using titrimetric method. COD analysis results obtained in the first week until the fourth week of each is as follows, Week I: inlet 241.28 mg / l, outlets 79.04 mg / l; Week II: inlet 287.04 mg / l, outlet 128.96 mg / l; week III: inlet 224.64 mg / l, outlets 74.88 mg / l; Week IV: inlet 224.64 mg / l, outlet 141.44 mg / l. And the results of the analysis none of COD at the outlet exceeds the standard limit set by the Minister of the Environment.en_US
