dc.description.abstractArgon purification process has been carried out on the liquid Oxygen in the PT. Aneka Gas Industri Medan which Oxygen rich content of Argon separated in Crude Argon System continuously until the purity Oxygen reaches 99.99% conducted distillation column. The separation process depends on the flow rate, temperature, and pressure. The results of the data obtained showed that the purity of Argon which reached 99.99% was obtained at a pressure of 5.35 kg cm-2 and a flow rate of 6480 m hour -1. In the pressure < 5,35 kg cm-2 (5,02 – 5,22 kg cm-2) and flow rate < 6480 m hour-1 (6380 – 6460 m hour-1). Argon purity of was obtained around 99,95 – 99,98%. In the pressure > of 5,35 kg cm-2 (5,44 – 5,80 kg cm -2) and flow rate > 6480 m hour-1 (6500 – 6650 m hour-1). Argon purity of was obtained around 99,97 – 99,91%.en_US
