Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is natural gas that is liquefied. LNG liquefied at a temperature of ± -160 ºC. The main content of LNG is methane (CH4), ethane (C2H6), propane (C3H8), butane (C4H10), and a little nitrogen (N2). To find out how much the concentration of each of the components of the sample will be analyzed for levels of LNG hydrocarbons and nitrogen contained in it by using gas chromatography. The working principle of gas chromatography is a separation process chemical compounds in physics. In a column by using a two-phase system, the stationary phase (stationary) and the mobile phase (the car). The stationary phase is a solid, while the mobile phase is a carrier gas of helium gas. From the results, obtained by the composition of LNG is methane (CH4) ± 89%, Ethane (C2H6) ± 7%, Propane (C3H8) ± 2%, Butane (C4H10) ± 0.4%, Pentane (C5H12) ± 0.003%, and Nitrogen (N2) ± 0.004%. Now we know the concentration of each component, then it can be calculated HHV (Hight Heating Value) of LNG, which can determine the HHV LNG prices in the world market. And HHV values are obtained from the LNG is 1120.908 BTU / SCF, 1120.121 BTU / SCF, and 1119.096 BTU / SCF.en_US
