In this research the data were collected through the methods of test the value of specific gravity of the solutions of CaCO3 per hour, with a long research time 10 hours / day for 4 days to process the addition of CaCO3 but it also saw the value of losses calculation kernel and shell at the same time. The addition of CaCO3 varied in the number of 500, 550, 600, and 650 kg in 4 days. With the method of graphic analysis of the data to see the average - average specific gravity and total losses addition of CaCO3 to the kernel and the shell was performed in the experiment. Where the addition of 500 kg CaCO3 obtained kernel and shell losses of 8.79% and 1.43%, at 550 kg kernel and shell losses obtained 8.86% and 1.79%, at 600 kg kernel and shell losses obtained 6.70% and 2.63%, while 650 kg obtained kernel and shell losses 5.66% and 2.85%. So that it can be seen, the optimal use of CaCO3 was as much as 650 kg with 10-hour study duration, with a density of 1,120 kg/l.en_US
