Urea is one form of the use of nitrogen as a fertilizer. Urea is formed from the reaction of ammonia with carbon dioxide at a certain temperature and pressure. However, at higher temperatures during the process of making compound biuret urea will be formed. If the urea containing biuret compound levels is quite high, then this biuret compound will be toxic to plants. Urea also is hygroscopic which is very easy to absorb water. From the results of this study will be obtained biuret content, water content and total nitrogen in urea prill at PT. Pupuk Iskandar Muda in accordance with ISO 2801:2010 quality standard regarding the requirements of urea fertilizer.
