Have been Identify of Dye Additive Food in Jelly by Paper Chromatographi
Method. The solvent used is Isobuthanol:Ethanol:Water with a ratio 3:2:2 as
solution solvent and Allura Red, Ponceau 4R, Tartrazine, Sunset Yellow, and
Carmoisine as standart solution. The result of this identification is obtained dye
additive food in jelly is Ponceau 4R. The results of this identification is known
that the dye Ponceau 4R is permitted of food additives. So that the jelly have been
qualified.
