dc.description.abstractWe analyzed the levels of methampyron (C13H16N3NaO4S.H2O) in antalgin 500 mg tablets produced by PT. Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk Medan plant in titration iodimetri. Where in the process of this analysis is done based on the oxidation reaction. Titration is done in a neutral atmosphere slightly acidic, at which time the titration group -SO3Na oxidised by I2 be -SO4Na, which will change color from milky white to brown solid. Thus obtained the levels of 97.29% and has been in accordance with the Indonesian Pharmacopoeia standards that the content contained on antalgin tablet containing methampyron, not less than 95.0% and not more than 105.0% of the amount that is not listed on the label.en_US
