Penentuan Kadar Padatan Total pada Lateks Kompon terhadap Mutu Benang Karet

Abstract

Latex is a milky colloidal liquid from tree of rubber (Havea Brasiliensis) with the rubber particle disperted water. Latex contain protein (white of egg) which capable to pieces by bactery activity. To determine the Total Solid Content (TSC) of compound concentrated which used for rubber thread is with heated. It was done with volumetric method and heating during 3 hours. The treatment of sample everyday during 4 times taking over and doing 3 times repeatly. TSC of compound concentrated : 58,33%- 59,00%. In this case, TSC concentrated at Rubber Thread Factory to match with quality Rubber Thread Factory standart.
