The liquid waste of rubber is the waste from processing of rubber become rubber thread. In liquid waste of rubber contain dangerous ammonia and total nitrogen if the rates have exceeded the standard boundary which have been specified so that can contaminate the river water and environment. To determine ammonia and total nitrogen rates in liquid waste of rubber, Research and Standardisation Industry Medan use the spectrophotometer appliance. From this experiment we get height ammonia from outlet sample is1,8 mg/L, hulu sample is 0,21 mg/L, hilir I sample (±20m) is 0,56 mg/L, and hilir II sample (±40m) is 0,25 mg/L. Height total nitrogen from outlet sample is 3,07 mg/L, hulu sample is 0,32 mg/L, hilir I sample (±20m) is 1,08 mg/L, and hilir II sample (±40m) is 0,37 mg/L. The result of analysis shows that ammonia and total nitrogeen_US
