Abstract

Sterilization is the first process in palm oil, which the big influential toward furthermore process. This process is decision for good or not quality one quantity result in a factory. Sterilizing is done by flowing the steam with different pressure and time, the higher pressure the more steam will be used. The percentage average of water content, and oil content in condensate water in laboratory PKS Sie mangkei are : water content 92,04 % and oil content 1,98 %. The pressure used is 2,8 kg/cm 2 and time used is 110 minute. And the triple peak system is a good sterilizer system used. Universitas Sumatera
