dc.description.abstractAn experiment was conducted on the datermination of carotene and the number of DOBI on CPO of palm fruit waste by means of uv-visible spectrophotometer. in the determination of carotene and the number of DOBI was done by UV-Visible spectrophotometer using standard n-hexane solution. From result of data obtained for carotene is 291,0482 ppm and from result of data obtained for number of DOBI is 0,6198565. From the analysis of CPO on palm oil fruit waste is not in accordance with the quality standards set SNI,kk PORIM, SPB and Ordinary. SNI and PORIM quality standards are >2.93 on the number of DOBI. The quality standard specified by SPB and Ordinary for Carotene is 500-700 ppm. From the results of the analysis can be concluded that CPO oil from palm fruit waste can not be used, because it is not in accordance with the established standard.en_US
