dc.description.abstractTurbidity greatly affects water quality especially raw water during the rainy season. Turbidity is strongly influenced by the presence of solid suspensions in water, especially solids. The purpose of adding chlorine is to kill microorganisms in water, in addition to preventing the occurrence of moss on the DMI wall and which will disturb the subsequent process and depend on the condition of the processed raw water and the purpose of its use by photometric method. The photometric method was performed with the addition of diethyl phenylene diamine (DPD). From the results that have been done on water quality with Photometry method obtained chlorine 120 kg / day ( 3 ppm ).The results obtained from the analysis of the addition of chlorine have met the standard of Permenkes RI No. 492 / MENKES / PER / IV / 2010.en_US
