Metode Hybrid (Content Dan Collaborative Based) Nearest Neighbour untuk Sistem Rekomendasi Pariwisata

Abstract

A recommendation system is an application to provide and recommend item to make desired decision by the user. Hybrid method (content-based and collaborative) nearest neighbor is proposed to solve content and collaborative based method shortcomings. In this study explains about how the hybrid method with nearest neighbor algorithm based on the preference and rating for tourism area can be applied to provide a tourism recommendation. The data in this study was taken from database government of Serdang Bedagai regency tourism area. Nearest neighbor algorithm works based on the similarity of weight preference distance between new user and old user. The result of this paper are a web-based system to recommendation the tourism area using PHP programming language and MySQL for database and to present the hybrid method nearest neighbor does not require the first input of the data and rating as a basis to get recommendation.
