dc.description.abstractThe determination of sodium benzoate preservatives has been found in soft drinks at the health laboratory of North Sumatra Province. From the data obtained from 5 samples of soft drinks A, B, C, D and E obtained levels of sodium benzoate preservatives in soft drinks A, B, C, D, and E as much as 200mg/L, 400mg/L, as 600mg/L, 400mg/L, and 400mg/L. Levels of sodium benzoate preservatives contained in the sample are still within normal limits and meet the requirements in the use of sodium benzoate preservatives in soft drinks specified in the regulation MENKES RI number 722/Menkes/ Per/IX/88 is as much as 600mg / L.en_US
