dc.description.abstractResearch on the determination of Phosphate and Oil /Fat content has been done on Basic Oleochemical Liquid Waste at Balai Riset dan Standardisasi Industri Medan. Phosphate is determined by Spectrophotometric Method using UVVisible spectrophotometry where the wavelength for phosphate is 880 nm and Oil/Fat Content by Gravimetric Method. From the experimental results, the phosphate content of inlet A was 2,247 mg / L with dilution of 2 x, outlet A was 0,010 mg / L, inlet B 2,261 mg / L with dilution 2 x, outlet B equal to 0,108 mg / L , C inlet at 1,445 mg / L with 2 x dilution, C outlet at 0,012 mg / L, D inlet 1,438 m / L, outlet D 1,369 mg / L and oil / fat content at inlet A equal to 666 mg / L, Outlet A of 9.5 mg / L, B inlet of 569 mg / L, outlet B of 1.5 mg / L, inlet C of 395 mg / L, outlet C of 11 mg / L, inlet D of 4.25 Mg / L, outlet D is 1 mg / L. The maximum value of phosphate in basic oleochemical wastewater is 5 mg / L. And the maximum value of oil/fat in basic oleochemical liquid waste is 10 mg / L. The results of the analysis showed that the phosphate content of the basic Oleochemical wastewater had met the basic oleochemical wastewater quality standard according to PERMEN/LH/5/2014 on the quality standard of waste water. As for the oil/fat content there are some that do not meet the basic oleochemical wastewater quality standard according to PERMEN/LH/5/2014 about the quality stndard of waste water.en_US
