dc.description.abstractThere has been a determination of saponification number with titration method on Palm Fatty Acid Distillate (PFAD) and Palm Kernel Fatty Acid Distillate (PKFAD) from Dumai, Belawan and Riau. From the analysis results obtained by Saponification Number in Palm Fatty Acid Distillate for: Dumai region 198.04 mgKOH / g; Belawan 198.05 mgKOH / g; Riau 198.06 mgKOH / g. And in Palm Kernel Fatty Acid Distillate obtained for: Dumai Region 251,63 mgKOH / g; Belawan 254,60 mgKOH / g; Riau 254,95 mgKOH / g. The result of analysis obtained in accordance with standard quality of PFAD is 198 mgKOH / g and PKFAD is 198 mgKOH/g dan PKFAD yaitu 249 mgKOH/g – 263 mgKOH/g.en_US
