    Abstract
    Has made observation on the effect of the pressing process percentage loss of palm oil in the pulp press Dolok Ilir. Hence the pressing this greatly affects the quality of palm oil. The pressing process is influenced by the type of screw press, screw press working pressure, and dilution water. Percentage loss of palm oil in the pressing process the press dregs obtained from the fiber is 2.82 - 3.62% where the value is taken from the percentage of dry oil that contains no water. Norma loss of oil are allowed in the station felts (press) at the fiber is 4.00 - 6.00%.
