dc.description.abstractHas analyzed the levels of protein and fat in poultry feed in the Balai Pengujian dan Identifikasi Barag ( BPIB ) type B Medan , where the determination of protein content analyzed by the Kjeldahl method , the analysis carried out in three stages : stage destruction by adding concentrated H2SO4 and catalyst selenium during ± 2 hours at a temperature of 4100C in the acid room , the next stage of distillation and then phase titration using a standard solution of HCl 0.2 N. the final results of titration show color changes from green to gray . Analysis of lipid content was determined using the soxhletation using a solvent n- hexane at a temperature of 2100C for ± 1 hour . The results obtained show that poultry feed containing hydrolyzed feather meal protein levels by an average of 83.62 % and an average fat content of 9.41% .en_US
