dc.description.abstractHas conducted experimentsinthe Laboratoryof PTPLN(Persero) SectorGeneration andGenaration Control ofOmbilinSawahluntoregardingdetermination of silica in coal fly ash and coal fly ash residue. Determination ofsilica in coal fly ash and coal fly ash residueusingsolid-liquid extractionmethod and colorimetric method. The results were obtained by the method of solid-liquid extraction obtained silica (SiO₂) content of coal fly ash is 73% - 95%, coal fly ash residue is 76% - 82% and coal fly ash residue pH neutral is 76% - 77%. Where as with colorimetric method obtained silica (SiO₂) content of coal fly ash is 82 ppb – 135 ppb dan coal fly ash residue is 22 ppb - 38 ppb. Silica analysis results indicate that the liquid - solid extraction method is higher than the colorimetric method.en_US
