dc.description.abstractFree fatty acid is a fatty acid that exists as free acid not bound as triglycerides. In the calculation of free fatty acid content of palm oil is considered as Acid Palmitate (molecular weight 256). Has been conducted to determine the free fatty acid content of the mixture PFAD and CPO (1:4) at PT. PALMCOCO LABORATORIES, where this analysis aims to determine the free fatty acid content of the mixture PFAD and CPO (1:4). Determination of the free fatty acid content is done by acid-base titration using KOH 0,0998 N solution with the addition of indicators phenolptalein. The results of the analysis obtained free fatty acid levels in PFAD is 85,50%-89,11%,the CPO is 4,02%-4,81%, and the mixture PFAD and CPO (1:4) was 21,01%-21,14%. Then of the result known that levels of free fatty acids from PFAD, CPO and a mixture PFAD and CPO (1:4) meet the quality standards according PORAM.en_US
