Pengaruh Waktu Penyimpanan CPO terhadap Kadar Asam Lemak Bebas pada Minyak Sawit PTPN IV Dolok Sinumbah Kabupaten Simalungun

Abstract

Have observed the effect of storage time of CPO to changes in the levels of free fatty acids of palm oil using acid-base titration with a solution that is KOH. The results obtained by the analysis of free fatty acid levels increased during storage respectively on the first day of the results obtained is 3.13% on the second day and third day of 4.12% and 4.47%. Increased levels of Free Fatty Acids during storage due to the hydrolysis reaction in the oil.
