Have observed the effect of storage time of CPO to changes in the levels of free
fatty acids of palm oil using acid-base titration with a solution that is KOH. The
results obtained by the analysis of free fatty acid levels increased during storage
respectively on the first day of the results obtained is 3.13% on the second day
and third day of 4.12% and 4.47%. Increased levels of Free Fatty Acids during
storage due to the hydrolysis reaction in the oil.
