dc.description.abstractObservations have been carried out to determine changes in the content fatty acid free and content of the water CPO in the CST tank compared with CPO after experiencing purification through Oil Purifier and Drier Vacuum oil tank in production in the palm oil factory PTP.Nusantara IV Pabatu Tebing Tinggi. Free fatty acids are determined through titration titrimetric method ( acid base titration ) receipts standard solution of 0,1 N KOH withphenolphthalein indicator while the water content determined throught gravimetric method. Result of the the analysis showed prior to processing Oil Purifier and Drier Vacuum content of fatty acid free average - average of 6,99% and the content of water average - average of 0,387%, then after going through the process of Oil Purifier and Drier Vacuum obtained free fatty acid content average - average of 3,97% and the content of water average - average of 0,138%. Changes in the content fatty acid free before and after experiencing the process of Oil Purifier and Drier Vacuum of 3.02% and the content of water 0,25%.en_US
