Penentuan Bilangan Penyabunan dalam Crude Palm Stearin (CPS) dan Refined Bleached Deodorized Palm Stearin (RBDPS) di PT.Palmcoco Laboratories

Abstract

Have been conducted Determination of Saponification Value by methode titration to some Crude Palm Stearin and Refined Bleached Deodorized Palm Stearin from some area. The result of analysis obtained the Saponification Value in Crude Palm Stearin for : Area Jakarta 195.15 mg KOH / g ; Belawan 205.14 mg KOH / g ; Dumai 199.34 mg KOH / g. And in Refined Bleached Deodorized Palm Stearin obtained for : Area Jakarta 194.75 mg KOH / g ; Belawan 203.30 mg KOH / g ; Dumai 199.88 mg KOH / g. Result of analysis obtained as according to standart of quality from Crude Palm Stearin and Refined Bleached Deodorized Palm Stearin that is: CPS193 mg KOH / g - 206 mg KOH / g ; RBD PS 193 mg KOH / g - 205 mg KOH / g.
