dc.description.abstract | Productivity is a measure that shows the extent to which the utilization of existing resources produces an optimal result. The existence of instability of production at PT. Horti Jaya Lestari Dokan shows a decrease in employee productivity. Factors that can increase work productivity, such as work environment and workload. Lack of attention to the conditions of the work environment and workload can cause a decrease in productivity and hinder the goals and targets to be achieved by the company.
This study aims to analyze the effect of the work environment and workload on the work productivity of PT. Horti Jaya Lestari Dokan. The effect of work environment and workload will be tested partially and simultaneously on work productivity.
The form of this research is quantitative research with an associative approach. The population is all employees of PT. Horti Jaya Lestari Dokan has many as 71 respondents. The data collection technique is primary data obtained through direct questionnaire distribution and secondary data obtained through books, journals and related to this research. The analytical methods used are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing.
Based on the research results, the work environment has a significant effect on work productivity. Workload has a significant effect on work productivity. The work environment and workload have a simultaneous effect on work productivity. The result of the correlation coefficient (R) is 0,597, where this coefficient value shows the relationship between the work environment and workload on work productivity. The adjusted R square value indicates that the work environment and workload can explain the work productivity variable by 33.8%, while the rest is influenced by other variables not explained in this study. | en_US |
