| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to build a digital dictionary application that can be a useful tool in
education world espescially in French lesson, which in that lesson there are many
words in French that still strange for Indonesian people. This digital dictionary
application is created by using NetBeans 6.9 software and other tools. This research
methods that implemented are deciding which French – Indonesian dictionary will be
used, find out the relation between French words and Indonesian words, creating the
words database, creating the interface of application, and system testing. Based on
those things, the writer interested in creating a digital dictionary in electronic form and
efisient in the way of word searching. This application includes words searching and
data update that can be done directly. The target of this application is the environment,
