dc.description.abstract | In planning construction of piling foundation, the bearing capacity
determination piling represent the fundamental problems. This matter is happened
because amount of dot of intake sample very limited to be compared to by the amount
of piling to be executed. Determining accurate bearing capacity of the pile by
executing encumbering test depress the (loading test) direct in location of place of
execution construction, while planning calculation still assumed in rough. The
examination conducted for to assure the planner and executor as guarantee for the
owner of so the function from maximal reachable building.
This Thesis compilation is meant to analysis bearing capacity the steel piling
which is related to the condition of soil at the dock of Container Belawan. While its
target is to analysis the bearing capacity comparison support the piling pursuant to
contribution of is soil condition with the result test the encumbering (loading test) and
calculation with Plaxis program.
This research is expected can give one the alternative how to use the way of
efficient examination and earn the responsibility technically. But this research only at
the area port of dock Container Belawan with summed is very limited data.
This research step to review of the theory of related to piling, step
hereinafter by review to location research and also collect the data including soil
parameter and test the encumbering (loading test the). Final step that is performing a
calculation analysis, solution and perform predicts return the result to result loading
test.
From inferential solution result that calculation result analyzed by
Meyerhof's Method with a method yielding minimum of the ultimate bearing
capacity energy support the piling while the maximum bearing capacity calculation
Meyerhof' s method and 13 method. If the evaluated from comparison result test the
encumbering (loading test) with the calculation result use the Plaxis program show
the such a great difference of degradation at certain dot but the other dot still show
