dc.description.abstractβ-Carotene is minor constituent with concentration of hundred of ppm in Crude Palm Oil, which has high economic value. Good Carotene levels of Carotene in Palm Oil at 500 to 700 ppm. β-Carotene serves as pro-vitamine A and diseases such as cancer. To determine levels of β-Carotene from methyl ester oil separation process is carried out by means of crude palm Solvolityc Micellization. In this proses used methanol solvent which serves to separate rest of β-Carotene. So it can be easy to get β-Carotene. The process generated from β-Carotene levels were quite high from the beginning levels that have not undergone a process Solvolytic Micellization, is equal to 401 ppm to 6197 ppm in the ester 1. While the ester 2 was 597 to 7609 ppm. Solvolytic Micellization is simple prosess to obtain methyl ester of β-Carotene.en_US
