dc.description.abstractHave done absorption of zinc metal (Zn) from wastewater using adsorbents elektroplatting derived from rice straw with rice straw delignification first using 3% NaOH solution at 70 ° C were analyzed by FT-IR spectrophotometry showed that the analysis of adsorbent tape uptake 3367.71 cm-1 shows the -OH groups of the cellulose and the absorption band 2889.37 and 789.53 (-CH) where the absorption band 2889.37 cm-1 -CH stretching and 789.53 cm-1 -CH buckling. Absorption band 1095.57 cm-1 shows the CO group of cellulose. Furthermore, the adsorbent is activated with 0.2 M HCl concentration; 0,6M; 1M at a temperature of 105 ° C. The adsorbent is added to the rice straw waste electroplating the pH varied from pH 4-8 and the results are analyzed using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry. AAS analysis of the results obtained by the percentage decrease in Zn metal is optimum at pH 8 is 94.03% Zn metal concentrations obtained 0.9470 mg / L.en_US
