dc.description.abstract | Solution in using energ/ which is in ltne with the need and forestalling waste
is needed to make energ) consumption fficient. Therefore, the writer attempts to
destgt a Ardifno mieitrcoiwollet-lissed connol system which can tuin on ail tAHt
off air conditioning automatically by detecting the presence of human beings in a
room by using passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor. The objective of the research is
to analyze the performance of automatic control system in regulating the use of air
condittoning. The result of thb reseorch using this automatic control sistem obtained
the reduction of electrical energt consumption of 32.30% inwhich the temperature in
the room is still withtn comfortable limits according to the Standar Nasional
Indonesia (SNI) regarding the procedure for the design of ventilation and air
