E (Distance Measuring Equipment) is a tool of navigation that serves as a measure of the distance between the aircraft airport (Earth station). DME consists of two main parts, namely Transpoder in the Earth station and the interrogator in the aircraft. The aircraft DME system no longer updated information on the slope and the distance to the airport where the aircraft. DME principle of work is given to the question of the aircraft embedded into the aircraft that the interrogators will be sent to the DME, the interrogators in the aircraft then mentriger (of activation) pulse DME questions send responses to aircraft with different frequencies code. Aircraft to determine the distance from the DME based on the time difference between the signals sent by the aircraft with the signal received and then in dipesawat expressed in nautical miles.en_US
