Analisis Pengaruh Penambangan Bahan Galian C di Sepanjang Sungai Ular terhadap Peningkatan Pendapatan Penambang di Kabupaten Deli Serdang dan Serdang Bedagai

Abstract

It was the descriptive analysis study, a research considerably aimed at solving the existing problem. Primary and secondary data are mainly collected and arranged for analysis using rank spearmen and multiple regression statistical tests. Sampling are conducted by using Taro Yamane's equation to 270.778 people of the population who extensively resided in the periphery of Ular River.

The results show that there is effect of exploration along Ular River on selling price of dig-C. The higher the price, the bigger will be the production. Agricultural lands became wider because of exploration in Ular River. Crops production generally declined where average production was 3 — 3.99 tons/ha, and imigation channels are damaged because of exploration activities.

Dig-C exploration in Ular River affected the increase in miners’ income. It can be sufficiently found in the higher increase in population income generated from the availability of employment and the wide chance to establish business, especially in the business supporting exploration

activities.
