Abstract

This research is entitled "Wave Setyo Culture Art Studio in Suka Makmur Village, Delitua District, Deli Serdang Regency: Studies on Management and Performing Arts". An art studio is a place or facility used by a group of people for artistic activities, and can also be used as a non-formal learning process. Wahyu Setyo Budaya Art Studio is a studio whose goal is to guide, maintain, and maintain Javanese culture, especially gamelan. The theory that the writer uses is management theory (Muhammad Takari), performance theory (Milton Singer). The method used is a qualitative research method by conducting literature studies, field work, interviews, and observations. The results obtained from this study include: 1). Management of the Wahyu Setyo Budaya Art Studio in the management system of the Western world, which means that the Wahyu Setyo Budaya Art Studio has a chairman, vice chairman, secretary, treasurer. The management system at the Wahyu Setyo Budaya Art Studio includes planning, organizing, tracing human resources, and supervising. 2). The performing arts that they display in traditional events: the ceremony of meeting the bride and groom, welcoming, inauguration, coronation, performances and cultural performances in the month of Suro, namely wayang kulit. Wahyu Setyo Culture Art Studio has made many positive contributions and impacts in the healing of Javanese art.
