    Rancang Bangun Sistem Monitoring Kecepatan Angin dan Arah Angin Pada Turbin Angin Berbasis Internet Of Things (IoT)

    Abstract
    The wind speed and wind direction monitoring system has been successfully designed on an IoT-based wind turbine. This tool is designed to determine the potential for wind energy in two locations, namely the TPI Nelayan Indah Warehouse, Medan and Puncak 2000 Siosar, Karo. The JL-FS2 anemometer sensor is used to measure wind speed. The WB580 Wind Vane Direction sensor is used to measure wind direction. These sensors are assembled and programmed on the Arduino Uno which is connected to the IoT NodeMCU microcontroller then the measurement results can be monitored on the Blynk application and data recording on Ms.Excel with the help of PLX-DAQ. The results showed that the location of Puncak 2000 Siosar had greater wind potential than the location of the TPI Nelayan Indah Warehouse with a maximum wind speed of 7.1 m/s; the minimum wind speed is 0.96 m/s. and the average speed for a duration of 4 hours 43 minutes is 3.87 m/s. The average wind direction is from the northwest. At the location of the TPI Nelayan Indah Warehouse, the maximum wind speed is 4.27 m/s; the minimum wind speed is 0.47 m/s. and the average speed for a duration of 4 hours 43 minutes is 1.72 m/s. The average wind direction is from the northeast. Based on data analysis, the two monitoring sites can be used as a place for wind turbines to produce electrical energy.
