Analisis Tindak Tutur Direktif dalam Film Kartun “Abu Bakar Ar-Razi”
Abstract
This study discusses directive speech acts in the cartoon film Abu Bakar Ar-Razi. The problems studied are the types and functions of directive speech acts. The aim is to find out the types and functions of directive speech acts in the cartoon by using the theory of speech acts put forward by Jarim, Sahraui, Yule, and Ibrahim. This research is a (library research). Using the listening method by listening and noting the directive utterances in the cartoon. The results of this study indicate that there are 65 directive speech acts found. Types of direct speech acts were found in 65 utterances each functioning as a sentence asking (6 utterances), inviting (3 utterances), praying (1 utterance), asking (28 utterances), interrogating (13 utterances), commanding (2 utterances), agreeing only (1 utterance), allowing (2 utterances), giving (2 utterances), suggesting (3 utterances), granting (1 utterance), and proposing (3 utterances). The conclusion that can be drawn is that there are 65 types of direct speech acts and the functions of directive speech acts vary, namely requistives, questions, requirements, permissives, and advisories.
