dc.description.abstractAcidogenesis is one of the step in anaerobic digestion which produce the intermediet product VFA. VFA is consist of acetic acid, propionic acid and butiric acid. This research was done to obtain the information the of POME conversion to VFA by varying the HRT and mixing rate in ambient temperature. The CSTR fermentor was used in this research. Loading up process was done by varying the HRT, starting by HRT 20, 15, 10 and 4 days with pH 6. And the next step was done by varying the mixing rate starting by 50, 100, 150 and 200 rpm with pH 6 and HRT 4 days. The analysis in this research were TS, VS, TSS, VSS, COD and VFA. The result of this study indicate that the best mixing rate in 50 rpm which produced 13.710,557 mg/L total VFA and consist of 6451,086 mg/L acetic acid, 1822,837 mg/L propionic acid and 5436,634 mg/L butiric acid with the VS reduction 16,61 % and COD reduction 21,67 %.en_US
