dc.description.abstractThis research aims to know availability of different shape white sand to adsorp cadmium ion (Cd2+) from solution on pH 4,5. White sand has shape 10 mesh, 20 mesh and 40 mesh. This research divided 4 part, there is determine neutral pH, drying white sand, determine optimum contact time and determine adsorption capacity. The results of this research is optimum contact time that white sand need to adsorp cadmium ion (Cd2+) is about 100 minutes. Modeling in pseudo second-order dominant to chemical interactions that occur between the adsorbate and adsorbent. Diffusion kinetics modeling obtained by the internal diffusion (interparticle).en_US
