Analisis Pemberdayaan Kelurahan dalam Pelaksanaan Kebersihan Kota Medan

Abstract

Mayor of Medan Instruction Number : 141/079/INST date of 9 February 2001, Decision Letter of Mayor Medan Number : 140/099/SK/2001 date of 16 March 2001, and Mayor of Medan Instruction Nomor : 141/1417/INST date of 14 July 2001 have been spent to handle the problem of cleanliness. But, due to still weak about socialization accomplishment and observation that done by the district of village-head side so that Development Program District of village-head have not walking maximally yet.

This research explain problems as follows : How description District of village-head development in cleanliness realization of Medan City ? and how far relation between District of village-head side with cleanliness realization in Medan City ?

Whereas, the intention of this research is : to describe performance a village-head in implementing and accomplish development Program District of village-head toward cleanliness realization of Medan City, and describe relation between District of village-head development toward cleanliness realization of Medan City.

This research use a descriptive method with qualitative approach and statistical test based on Correlation Product Moment. Sample which taken is as much 40 district of village-head with 200 family head responder.

The Result from this research indicate that r statistic is 0,585 and if compared with r tables of 0,138, the indicate that statistical r bigger than r of tables of that is 0,585 > 0,138. Based on examination of signification, so hypothesis which told before all acceptable. Which is mean that there are Positive relationship between district of village-head development with Cleanliness realization of Medan City.

To see the low height about the relation of District of village-head development toward cleanliness realization of Medan City, it can see from the tables of intreprestation r value based on Scale Guilford, where indicate that from result assessing r xy = 0,585. So, the relation District of village-head development in cleanliness realization of Medan City have a significant relationship enough. This thing can be seen at tables of 4.12. (page 74) that is value which obtained stay between 0,41 - 0,70.
