dc.description.abstractLiterary work is an imaginative world created by the author. One type of literary work is a novel. Asya Story novel by Sabrina Febrianti contains the violence experienced by the character Asya in living her life. This thesis was written to determine the forms and types of violence in Asya's character. The benefits of this research are to enrich the study and appreciation of Indonesian literary works, as well as to help readers understand the forms of violence against Asya in the Asya Story novel by Sabrina Febrianti. To achieve the objectives of this study, the author examines Sabrina Febrianti's novel Asya Story by applying the Galtung theory in a literary psychology approach. The study of the research data was carried out using a qualitative descriptive method by connecting the Asya Story novel with Galtung theory in a literary psychology approach so that the forms of Asya's character violence can be determined. The results of this study are Physical and Psychological Violence, Positive and Negative Influences, some objects are hurt or not, some subjects act or not, intentionally or not, and visible and hidden. The types of violence in Asya's novel are Sexual Harassment, Rape, and Domestic Violence.en_US
