dc.description.abstract | This study aims to describe the stages in the marebat tradition in the Batak Toba ethnicity and describe what types of local wisdom are found in the marebat tradition in the Batak Toba ethnicity. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research method with field research techniques with methods of collecting observational data, interviews, and literature. The data sources studied are from primary data sources and secondary data. This research uses the theory of oral tradition. Based on the results of the study, the authors found that there are nine stages in the marebat tradition. There is local wisdom in the stages of the marebat tradition, namely politeness, mutual cooperation, cultural preservation and creativity, hard work, gender management, care and affection, perseverance, discipline, commitment, environmental care, respect, honesty, health, positive thoughts, education, gratitude, social solidarity, harmony and conflict resolution, control, love of culture, independence, trust. | en_US |
