Analisis السجع /Al-Sajʻu/ : إلى الله تعالى قصيدة في الإلتجاء /Qaṣīdah Fī Al-Iltijāˋi Ilā Allāhi Taʻāla

Abstract

This study discusses al-sajʻu in the verse قصيدة في الإلتجاء إلى الله تعالى /qaṣīdah fī al-iltijāˋi ilā Allāhi taʻāla/ by Abdurrahim Ibn Ahmad ibn Ali Al-Buraʻi. The purpose of this study was to describe the types and terms of beauteous of al-saj'u found in al-saj'u in the verse قصيدة في الإلتجاء إلى الله تعالى /qaṣīdah fī al-iltijāˋi ilā Allāhi taʻāla/. This research is a library research and descriptive analysis method. The main data source analyzed was the existing text in the book Diwan al-Bura'i. Data collection techniques in this study used documentation techniques. The theory used is the theory of al-sajʻu al-Hasyimi. The results of this study show that are 2 types of al-saj'u in the verse, among others: 11 al-saj'u al-mutarraf and 5 al-saj' u al-mutawazi. Then, there are two conditions for the beauteous of al-saj'u found, namely al-sajʻu whose faqrah is balanced and al-sajʻu whose faqrah is both longer than the first faqrah. The conclusion obtained from this study is that there are only two types of al-saj'u, namely al-saj'u al-mutarraf and al-saj'u al-mutawazi. Furthermore, the verse under study is a beautiful al-saj'u because it fulfills the beauteous requirements of al-saj'u.
