dc.description.abstract | The foundation is part of a downward structure that receives and transmits the loads supported by the foundation and its own weight into the soil and rock beneath it. The pile foundation is a type of deep foundation that is widely used. The location of this research is in the Binjai-Langsa Toll Road Project, Binjai-Stabat Section Zone 1 STA 2+541. The purpose of this final project is to calculate and compare the axial bearing capacity of a single pile from SPT data using the Meyerhoff method , PDA data and with Finite Element Method. As for the calculation of lateral bearing capacity using the Broms method. and calculate the elastic decrease that occurs. The data was obtained from PT. Hutama Karya. Based on the calculation of the axial bearing capacity of a single pile with a diameter of 60 cm in borehole 02 with a depth of 35 m, SPT data obtained using the Meyerhof method = 297.05 Tons, with the Hilley method obtained = 830.648 Tons, and the Danish method obtained = 756,534 Tons, with the ENR method obtained a Qu value of = 1054.84 Tons, and with the plaxis program = 391.298 Tons and 297.3 Ton. While the calculation of the lateral bearing capacity of a single pile using the Broms method results obtained analytically = 55.627 tons, graphically = 60.037 tons. Efficiency of group pile are obtained by Converse-Labarre Method = 0.656. Settlement of a single pile with the Poulos Davis method = 5,24 mm, elastic settlement of a single pile = 17.76 mm, settlement of pile groups = 83.639 mm and settlement with the plaxis program = 5.71 mm. Differences in carrying capacity and settlement can be caused by differences in soil types, methods of carrying out tests that depend on the accuracy of the operator and differences in the parameters used in the calculations. | en_US |
