With the condition of Indonesia is more advanced, then there are various development
projects, especially in industrial construction. industrial construction crane will always be used
to move heavy items from one place to another. The use of cranes have have been chosed if the
terms of the security, economical, practical and safety of the crane is superior when compared
to many of lifting equipment to move heavy items.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the burden of planning in a bridge beam of
the hoist crane, and then planned the profile of the steel as economical as possible to use. Thus
gaining weight value effective planning to use in a project. In this thesis, the design of the
bridge beam there are only 3 models, such as : double- IWF, double Box-girder and steel frame.
All three models will be reviewed on a span of 20 meters and 30 meters with a weight of 10
ton crane. On the design of steel frames used SAP 2000 program assistance.
From the analytical results on 30 meter span steel frame is lighter 30.36% of the IWF
profile design and lighter 36.92% of the box-girder profile design. In the 20 meter span steel
frame is lighter 24.41% of the IWF profile design and lighter 33.66% of the box-girder profile
design. The bridge beam of Steel frame design has the lightest weight.
