Pengaruh Hemodialisa terhadap Gangguan Pendengaran pada Penderita Gagal Ginjal Kronis di RSUP H Adam Malik Medan

Abstract

Background : Sensoneural Hearing loss has been reported in patients with Chronic Renal Failure that treated by haemodialise. Haemodialysis role in causing sensoneural hearing loss still in controversy. Some authors reported there was depression fom the hearing level after the haemodialysis. On the other hand, others reported there was no correlation between them. Some studies with femporal bone study shows the cotlaps of the endolymphatic systems, edema and atrophy of the special cells from the hearing and balance system. These problem were suspected because of the osmotic imbaiance, that caused absent of the hair cells from the cochlea and induced the sensoneural hearing loss . Goa! : to observe the haemodialisis role of the hearing impairment from the chronic renalfailur patients in RSup H. Adam Malik Medan. study Method : this study was using pre and posf fesf design with non probability consecutive sampling that started since September 2009. and the data was anaiized with Anova dan t - independen tests. Results : Twenty five patients were evaluated, there was 12 patients (4g%) suffer mild levei of the hearing impairment. For the mild and severe level were found 1 patient (4%) in each level. From the otoaccoustic emmission examination were found pass in 11 patients and refer in 14 patients. Conclusions : there was no effect between haemodialise with the hearing impairment levet on the chronic renal faiture even in the otoacoustic emition examination was found hearing impairment
