Analisis Pengaruh Beban Kerja dan Dukungan Sosial terhadap Burnout pada Perawat Rumah Sakit Haji Medan

Abstract

The objective of the research was to find out 1) the influence of work load on burnout in the nurses of Haji Hospital, Medan, 2) the influence of social support on burnout in the nurses of Haji Hospital, Medan, and 3) the influence of work load and social support on burnout in the nurses of Haji Hospital, Medan. The research was categorized as correlational, and the research instrument was questionnaires, The population was 173 nurses in the inpatient wards, and 40 of them were used as the samples, taken by using Hair method. The measuring device was valid and reliable for research instrument. The result of the research showed that) work load had positive and significant influence on burnout in the nurses in the inpatient wards of Haji Hospital, Medan, 2) social support had negative and insignificant influence on burnout in the nurses in the inpatient wards of Haji Hospital, Medan, and 3) work load and social support simultaeously had significant influence on burnout in the nurses in the inpatient wards of Haji Hospital, Medan.
