Folklore Ethnic Study of Literary Psychology Folklore is essentially an oral story
that has long lived among the people. Folklore can be regarded as a form of
cultural and historical wealth of a nation. Spread Folklore usually spreads and
develops from one generation to another in one scope and ethnicity. However,
because folklore is usually inherited by telling it and rarely has a written synopsis
of the story, the story often experiences distortion so that it is often very different
from the original story. The purpose of this thesis is to describe the id, ego, and
superego contained in the folklore of Naimar bintang Bintang Ethnic Mandailing
Literary Psychology Study. The theory that the writer uses is Sigmund Freud's
theory of literary psychology. This thesis uses a qualitative descriptive method.
The results of this study include id, ego, superego in the folklore of Naimar
bintang the study of literary psychology. From the results of the study found id,
ego, and superego in the folklore of Naimar bintang the study of literary
psychology. The internal id acts as the most basic personality system that
functions to avoid unpleasant situations and achieve pleasant ones. The ego
functions as an effort to satisfy needs and reduce individual tension. The superego
controls the id and directs the ego. Id, ego, and superego are found in the
characters in the folklore of Naimar bintang ethnic Mandailing
