Analisis Nilai Moral dalam Novel “Absolute Justice” Karya Akiyoshi Rikako Akiyoshi Rikako No “Zettai Seigi” To Iu Shousetsu Ni Okeru Doutokutekina Kachi No Bunseki

Abstract

This study focuses on the application of the moral virtues of Bushido, as explained by Inazo Nitobe, by the main character. This study aims to identify how the moral virtues of Bushido are applied by the main character of the novel Absolute Justice and identify the moral virtues of Bushido found in the novel. There are two problems formulated in this study, (1) What are the moral virtues of Bushido found in the main character of Akiyoshi Rikako's Absolute Justice 2018?, (2) How are the moral virtues of Bushido applied by the main character of Akiyoshi Rikako's Absolute Justice 2018?. This study uses a descriptive method. In collecting the data, the researcher uses a library research method. The purpose of this study is to explain the moral virtues of Bushido found in Akiyoshi Rikako's Absolute Justice which are applied by the main character of this novel, Noriko. From the seven moral virtues of Bushido as explained by Inazo Nitobe, there are only four moral virtues applied by the main character. This study shows that in the application of the moral virtues of Bushido by the main character Noriko, there are Gi (義) Rectitude or Justice, Yuu (勇) Courage, Markoto (誠) Honesty and Sincerity, and Jin (仁) Mercy or Benevolence.
