Abstract

Introduction: Ocular trauma is a significant problem in pediatric patients and the most common cause of unilateral blindness in children. Of all cases trauma in children, 8-14%0 are cases of ocular trauma. Aim: To investigate the characteristics of in pediatric ocular trauma patients in H. Adam Malik General Hospital, Medan in 2011 period. Methods: This is a retrospective, descriptive study . Population of this research is the data of 68 patients eyes with Pediatic Ocular Trauma.
