dc.description.abstract | Class for Mothers is one of the activities increaitng women's knowledge in the community through learning by women, their husbands,learning together in the classroom by the facilitators. The objective of the research was to evaluate the activities of Class for Mothers in order to reduce Maternity Death Rate and Infant Death Rate at Rantau Public Health Center, Aceh Tamiang Regency, in 2016. The research used qualitative method by interviews, observation and documentary study. The informants consisted of the Head of the Health Agency, the Head of Public Health Center, the facilitators of Class for Mothers, Cadres, participan of Class for Mothers, husbands/family members and village reads. The result of input evaluation, the facilitators was adequate in all over the villages had implemented, not all pregnant women and women who had children under five years old participated, there was no husbands/family members participated, cadres was adequate in all over the villages, and facility and infrastructure were not adequate. The result of process evaluation, the capacity of facilitators in participants were not active, there was no meeting about the planning about identifying learning activities, and the source of fund came from BOK. The result of the output evaluation, was not in accordance with the national target. The result of the outcome evaluation, there was no death in women and only one death in babies. It is recommended that collaboration in cross-sectoral. Class for Mothers should be increased and refreshing facilitators and cadres in training should be performed so that indicator of the success in Class for Mothers. | en_US |
